About

Our purpose

Clusia Capital is a single purpose investment vehicle seeking to acquire a small or lower middle market business in the southeast or northeast U.S. 


We are looking to purchase a business that operates in, or provides software tools to, one of the following 4 industries:


  • healthcare (non-pharma)
  • pet & veterinary
  • logistics & supply chain
  • commercial real estate services (no hard assets)


We work with a group of shareholders who have expertise in each of these sectors, who will add value as directors and advisors.


Our ideal company:


  • produces $2-5m in EBITDA
  • generates a minimum 10% net profit margin
  • operates in a niche or fragmented market, with no dominant competitor
  • has low customer concentration
  • has recurring customers
  • has a positive reputation
  • has owners willing to cede control


Our intention is to grow the acquired business into the middle market.


We are not open to turnarounds or distressed situations.

Andrew Cannon, Principal

Andrew has management and investment experience in a range of sectors.


He has worked in digital marketing roles for Mars Inc. in their pet care business, served as marketing manager for the real estate investment arm of a large public-sector pension fund, and served as managing director of a healthcare continuing education business.


He has invested in and advised companies during high growth, transition and turnaround situations.


Independently, Andrew has managed residential rental properties, completed several residential design-build projects and provided residential real estate sales and advisory services at Sotheby's International Realty.


He holds an MBA from The Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
